Lancaster Blood Centre

EDM number 1702 in 1993-94, proposed by John Hutton on 01/11/1994.

That this House notes with concern the threat by the National Blood Authority to close the Lancaster Blood Centre; recognises that this would result in an inferior service to NHS patients throughout Lancashire and South Cumbria; and therefore calls on the National Blood Authority to drop its closure plans and maintain the Lancaster Blood Centre, so preserving the excellent services it provides to people in the North West.

This motion has been signed by a total of 21 MPs.
