London News Network
EDM number 1536 in 1993-94, proposed by Andrew Mackinlay on 18/07/1994.
That this House believes that those who hold the franchises for commercial television in what is, inappropriately, described as the 'London' television region, should beef-up the quality and volume of the London News Network's news gathering and current affairs coverage in those areas outside of the former Greater London Council area in which large numbers of their viewers live, and which the companies are always anxious to claim for the purposes of attracting advertising revenue.
This motion has been signed by a total of 10 MPs.
