Lautro And The Prudential

That this House is concerned at reports that, following a Prudential internal report that its pension transfer sales had caused actual harm to investors, the investigation by Lautro has been downgraded to an informal inquiry after the intervention of Mr Mike Newmarch, the Prudential's chief executive; and believes that Lautro should resist the bullying tactics of large companies in order that the full rigour of the regulatory process should be applied to all those involved in the massive scandal of pensions transfers that have impoverished millions of families.
