Homeopathy Unit At Mossley Hill Hospital

That this House deplores the threat to close the homeopathy unit at Mossley Hill Hospital in Liverpool; believes its closure would seriously affect patients throughout the North-West and that the redeployment of its existing 14 staff elsewhere would be a waste of their special expertise; congratulates its clinical director Dr Armitar Ghose for his work for the unit, his campaign to keep it open and his retirement in the week ended 21st July; and urges the Hospital and the North Mersey Communit y Trust to support and enhance the homeopathy unit rather than seeing to end it.
