That this House calls on the Secretary of State for Social Security to use his powers to examine the role of Peter Raine, Executive Director of Brent Council's Social Services Department, and Councillor John Warren, formerly Chair of Brent's Social Services Committee, in preventing an inquiry into the death of Mr John Sheppard the disabled Brent home-help user whose body lay undiscovered for three years.
