Misuse Of Forensic Pathology Pictures

That this House is shocked that a senior forensic pathologist, Professor Allan Usher, O.B.E., formerly of Sheffield University, is using photographs of the victims of violent crime and sudden death, gained in the course of his work, in slide shows for people on murder mystery weekend breaks in Harrogate; believes that such material should be subject to the same rules of confidentiality as medical records and be strictly limited as to their use for medical or police purposes; and urges the Home Secretary and Secretary of State for Health to issue such guidelines as a matter of urgency.
