EDM number 1413 in 1993-94, proposed by Ken Livingstone on 29/06/1994.

That this House calls upon the Director for Public Prosecutions to prosecute those responsible for the sickening Nazi publication, Holocaust News, which uses lies and distortion of facts to claim the Holocaust is a myth; notes that Nazi organisations such as the National Front and British National Party have been maliciously sending this publication out to Jewish people since the late 1970's causing severe distress; further notes that in the past months it has been sent to several addresses in the north west London area; believes that previous decisions not to prosecute, the last being in 1990, have been a travesty; and demands that a prosecution, under the Public Order Act 1986 or Malicious Communications Act 1988, should be commenced as a demonstration that this country will not tolerate the evil work of Nazi thugs.
