That this House, having considered the investigation by the Committee of Public Accounts of the National Audit Office report on 'The Grand Regatta Columbus' and 'The Fanfare for a New World', calls for the resignation of the Chairman of the Merseyside Development Corporation, Sir Desmond Pitcher, and its Chief Executive, Mr. Chris Farrow.
