Accountability Of The Higher Education Funding Council

That this House is alarmed about the role of the Higher Education Funding Council for England, its apparent lack of public accountability with regard to detailed information concerning the receipt and allocation of funds, its refusal to meet with elected representatives of this House, and its failure to recompense higher education institutions and their staff for the increased costs of providing quality education and research in the London area; and insists that a full and detailed analysis of accounts is provided which quantifies the allocation of these funds.
