Metropolitan Police Heavy Boat Rowing Club

That this House congratulates the initiative shown by the Metropolitan Police Heavy Boat Rowing Club in participating in an endurance run along the Californian coast in the United States of America with the assistance of the United States of America FBI to raise funds for children with leukaemia in Great Britain whilst at the same time supporting the FBI drug demand reduction programme; and welcomes the commitment of the 30 officers of the Metropolitan Police under the support of Superintendent David McDonald, Lime House, East London, in tackling the problems of drug use and abuse on both sides of the Atlantic.
