Cancer Relief Macmillan Fund And Breast Cancer Care Initiative

That this House welcomes the launch by the Cancer Relief Macmillan Fund and Breast Cancer Care of the initiative to help women with breast cancer get the best treatment and care from the National Health Service; believes that the achieving of minimum standards of care and treatment uniformly across the country, that they call for, are overdue and should become a priority at the Department of Health; and congratulates the Cancer Relief Macmillan Fund and Breast Cancer Care for their record distribution of three million leaflets providing women with breast cancer with the information they need to enable them to play a positive part in achieving the best possible treatment and care.
