Hon. Labour Members And Conservative Basildon
EDM number 1203 in 1993-94, proposed by David Amess on 10/05/1994.
That this House notes the wearing by honourable Labour Members of lapel badges stating 'I love Basildon'; congratulates the people of Basildon on continuing to have a Conservative-controlled council; observes that the Labour Party failed to gain any additional seat on Basildon Council in the recent council elections; and recognises this as a further example of Labour's capacity to score own goals.
This motion has been signed by a total of 10 MPs.
