Eurofighter 2000 International Debut

That this House congratulates British Aerospace Defence for the successful international debut on the 4th May at Warton in Lancashire of the Eurofighter 2000; recognises the dedicated and collaborative skill of British Aerospace in the United Kingdom, Alenia in Italy, Casa in Spain and Deutsche Aerospace AG in Germany, plus numerous other industries and skilled workforces in each of the four participant nations in this project; and recognises that this highly technical and advanced plane will form the backbone of Europe's air fighter defence in the 21st century and for the next 30 years.
