Conservative Party And No 11 Downing Street

EDM number 982 in 1992-93, proposed by Bryan Davies on 02/12/1992.

That this House notes the use of Number 11 Downing Street for a reception to raise funds for the Conservative Party; requests that the Comptroller and Auditor General examines this further case where public assets may have been exploited for private use by the Chancellor of the Exchequer; and regrets the devaluing of an historic residence for the tawdry purpose of Conservative Party fund-raising.

This motion has been signed by a total of 74 MPs.
