Inward Investment By Amcor Ltd

That this House welcomes the announcement that Amcor Ltd, the leading Australian packaging manufacturer, through its European subsidiary, Amcor Packaging Europe Ltd, will invest over ú32 million in establishing a corrugated packaging plant at Mold, Clwyd that will create 150 new jobs; and congratulates the Welsh Development Agency for their foresight in visiting Australia in search of inward investment for Wales, despite receiving no support and derisory criticisms of their endeavours from members of the Labour Party.
