EDM number 950A1 in 1992-93, proposed by Michael Shersby on 15/12/1992.

leave out from 'House' to end and add 'notes that Her Majesty's Government decided to agree on 19 November to a 7% devaluation of the green pound which benefits farmers incomes but has a significant inflationary impact on key food prices; points out that owing to currency realignments within the Exchange Rate Mechanism, the green pound has devalued approximately 13% in total since 16 September; and calls on Her Majesty's Government in the interests of consumers and food and drink manufacturers not to proceed with any further devaluations before monetary compensatory amounts are abolished'.

This is a ammendment to 950.
