Conduct Of Scottish Office And Ministry Of Agriculture Fisheries And Food Fisheries Ministers

That this House believes that the salaries of the Scottish Office and Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food fisheries ministers should be reduced to reflect their failure to even attempt to fight for Scottish fishing interests at the Fisheries Council meeting on Monday 23rd November by their refusal to request a supplementary haddock quota for the remainder of 1992; and notes that many families throughout the fishing communities will suffer a bleak Christmas because of the dereliction of duty by the honourable Member for Skipton and Ripon and the honourable Member for Dumfries.
