Cornwall And The National Lottery

That this House welcomes the report, The National Lottery, the Case for Cornwall; and urges Her Majesty's Government, if it decides to proceed with the National Lottery proposal, to demonstrate from the outset that its purpose will be to assist worthwhile community objectives by locating its headquarters in an area of Britain famous for its generosity to charity, its sporting prowess, its artistic inspiration and its indomitable community spirit, and so bring 300 new jobs to an area of chronic unemployment.
