CAPITAL EXPENDITURE FOR MANCHESTER'S SCHOOLS
EDM number 765 in 1992-93, proposed by Alfred Morris on 09/11/1992.
That this House, in advance of the Chancellor's Autumn Statement on 12th November, draws his attention to the crucial importance to children and staff in Manchester's schools of the City's bid for capital expenditure, more particularly in schools with basic needs, including those which are in an unsafe condition; and calls urgently for a response from the Government that will be more helpful than that of previous years, since when basic needs in the City's schools have become all the more series.
This motion has been signed by a total of 23 MPs.
