Seaham Dock Company

That this House notes the achievement of the Seaham Harbour Dock Company, its management and workforce in gaining a coveted British Standard registration to B.S. 5750 Part 2 1987, which ensures that all of the Seaham Docks operations are carried out to high and regular received standards and is a guarantee to customers that their requirements will be met exactly every time, and augments further the Docks status as the premier short sea trade specialist on the East Coast; and encourages other dock companies to achieve equally high standards, which reflect staff training and investment in people, as has been the hallmark of Seaham Dock Company.
