Housing In Wales

EDM number 617 in 1992-93, proposed by Martyn Jones on 21/10/1992.

That this House views with utter despair the recent Tai Cymru consultation paper Improving the Effectiveness of Housing Association Development and Management; and fears that the implementation of the document's proposals would lead to the serious weakening of standards of design and sensitivity of development throughout Wales, causing untold irreversible damage not only to the housing association movement but to the indigenous house building industry and professionals involved in that industry within Wales.
