leave out from 'notes' to end and add 'that nearly 17 million smokers in the United Kingdom will contribute ú8.2 billion in tobacco tax this year; further notes that the United Kingdom, which regulates tobacco advertising through voluntary agreements, has a better record in reducing tobacco consumption than all EC member states with advertising bans; and so urges the Secretary of State for Health to maintain her firm sensible opposition to the proposed EC Directive to ban tobacco advertising.'.
