Jubilee Line Extension

That this House is disappointed at the failure of the Minister, in his speech to the House on 16th July, to show a sufficient sense of urgency about the Jubilee Line extension and at the omission from his speech of the four necessary words 'it will go ahead'; stresses that no amount of enthusiasm is of value without those words; and notes that even delay will waste public money both directly and through the costs of unemployment, but that an immediate firm, positive announcement would be widely welcomed.
