Jubilee Line Extension And The Future Of Train Manufacturing In Britain

That this House, in accepting the importance for London of the Jubilee Line extension, further recognises that it will necessitate the purchase of additional trains and should thus help to maintain a British train manufacturing capacity and save jobs in Preston and elsewhere which are now hanging by a thread.
