Oulder Hill Community School

That this House congratulates Oulder Hill Community School, Rochdale, on being the first and only secondary school in England to offer the BTEC course in performing arts; recalls the promise in the Government White Paper, Education and Training for the twenty-first Century, to bridge the academic and vocational institutional divide; and calls on the Secretary of State for Education to remove forthwith the discriminatory funding system for vocational courses.
