EDM number 453 in 1992-93, proposed by David Alton on 08/07/1992.

That this House notes the disturbing report of the Dalai Lama that women in Tibet have been forcibly aborted and sterilised as part of China's population control programme; unreservedly condemns this outrageous violation of human rights; and urges Her Majesty's Government, in line with the United States Government, to withdraw funding from those involved in these practices.

This motion has been signed by a total of 21 MPs.
