Financial Base Of The West End Scheme In Bradford

That this House urges the Government to examine with particular care companies with shareholdings held in off-shore island tax-havens and especially Direct Democracy Developments Ltd., which has 99 issued ú1 shares, 30 of which are held by a company called Old Court Ltd. of P. O.Box 58, St. Peter Port, Guernsey, which is the ultimate shareholder in Northern and Shell Ltd. and Power Radio Ltd., who both publish pornographic magazines including Cheap Thrills and Penthouse; and questions whether such a financial base is satisfactory for the ú290 million West End development in Bradford.
