Effect Of Smoking On Health And A Ban On Tobacco Advertising

That this House notes the Royal College of Physicians' report on Smoking and the Young; urges the Government to support a total ban on tobacco advertising so as to confront the issues highlighted in the report and demonstrate its commitment to improving the nation's health; and calls on the Government to encourage the EC to cease subsidising tobacco growing in the EC.
