Marsham Street
EDM number 345 in 1992-93, proposed by Roger Moate on 25/06/1992.
That this House notes with approval the intention to demolish the Marsham Street offices of the Departments of the Environment and Transport; and urges Her Majesty's Government to set an example in environmental improvement by not redeveloping this important site with yet more surplus office buildings and to use this unique opportunity to create a new public open space, or other imaginative use, at the heart of the capital and to launch a competition for its design.
This motion has been signed by a total of 12 MPs.
