Norweb Profits Since Privatisation

EDM number 281 in 1992-93, proposed by Greg Pope on 17/06/1992.

That this House expresses its grave concern that Norweb has recently announced profits of ú137.9 million; believes that this represents an unacceptable exploitation of Norweb's customers; and calls upon the Government to take steps to limit these profits, reduce charges to customers, and cap the salaries of top officials.
