Norweb Profits

EDM number 266 in 1992-93, proposed by Liz Lynne on 16/06/1992.

That this House, noting that the profits of the electricity supplier Norweb have risen by 96 per cent. in the last year, calls on the company to issue a clear statement as to how the ú138 million profit is to be invested; notes that all the regional electricity companies are overcharging their customers; and urges that some of Norweb's ú138 million profit makes its way back to the consumers through reduced prices.

This motion has been signed by a total of 15 MPs.
