That this House notes the decision by the Luxembourg Court to reject the settlement agreement negotiated in 1991 between the liquidators of BCCI and the Sheikh of Abu Dhabi; welcomes the comment of Mr Brian Smouha that he 'does not intend to leave any situation untested'; calls on the Prime Minister to immediately convene a meeting between representatives of the Abu Dhabi Government, the liquidators, the Creditors' Committee and the Bank of England to find a just and equitable compensation scheme to repay the creditors and former employees of BCCI.
