That this House urges the Prime Minister and Foreign Secretary to exploit to the full the holding of the Commonwealth Conference in Cyprus as an opportunity to demonstrate their acceptance of the responsibilities of the United Kingdom as a guarantor of the territorial integrity of the island and to take commensurate initiatives to advance progress towards a settlement of the Cyprus problem which offers justice to all the legally recognised Commonwealth citizens of the Sovereign Republic of Cyprus.
