Norwegian Whaling (No. 2)

EDM number 2423 in 1992-93, proposed by Jeremy Corbyn on 26/07/1993.

That this House congratulates Greenpeace and the honourable Member for Newham North West on their demonstration at the Norwegian Trade Mission on Monday 26th July to protest at their resumption of commercial whaling; believes whaling to be immoral and wrong and that the whole species having been brutally hunted to the point of extinction should be spared and preserved; and further believes that the intelligence, communciation and sense of community amongst whales provide humans with useful lessons.

This motion has been signed by a total of 20 MPs.
