Hospital Security

EDM number 224 in 1992-93, proposed by Liz Lynne on 10/06/1992.

That this House notes the number of recent incidents around the country that have revealed grave deficiencies in security arrangements in hospitals; believes that patients and members of staff have a right to feel safe in hospitals; believes it is quite insufficient for individual cases to be dismissed as isolated incidents; and calls on the Government to produce an urgent review of existing arrangements for the security of patients and staff in hospitals.

This motion has been signed by a total of 24 MPs.
