Conduct Of Gestetner Nashua

That this House deplores the practice of Gestetner Nashua of systematically attempting to charge customers twice for goods they supply; notes that customers who pay for office equipment by direct debit are routinely sent a second invoice which states 'Please detach and return this advice with your payment to NRG Group Ltd', and that this is contained on a tear-off form implying that payment has not been made when it has; notes that many businesses are having to divert resources from their commercial activities in order to double check the mail they receive for double-charging; and calls on Department of Trade and Industry inspectors to investigate this practice and to ensure that business and other consumers are protected from such unscrupulous business practices.
