Supervision Orders And Mental Health Needs
EDM number 2208 in 1992-93, proposed by Edward O'Hara on 23/06/1993.
That this House is opposed to the principle of the Community Supervision Orders recently proposed by the Royal College of Psychiatrists, as potentially eroding the right of the individual to refuse treatment; and calls upon the Secretary of State for Health to meet mental health needs through services and facilities within the community which are adequately funded and properly reflect the philosophy of community care.
