That this House notes that Article 8 of the European Convention on Human Rights declares that `everyone has the right to respect for his private and family life, his home and his correspondence'; further notes that no exceptions are made according to an individual's position whether in private or public life; and calls upon the editors of the United Kingdom's newspapers to observe the Convention, to which the United Kingdom is a signatory.
