Air Pollution In London

EDM number 2138 in 1992-93, proposed by Jeremy Corbyn on 09/06/1993.

That this House is deeply concerned at the appalling quality of air in London, particularly during hot and still weather; believes that the high incidence of bronchial illness and child asthma is related to this and that the major sources of polluted air are private cars; and therefore calls for urgent Government action to improve public transport and reduce wasteful commuter motoring.
