Ladbrokes
EDM number 2128 in 1992-93, proposed by Alan Meale on 09/06/1993.
That this House is appalled by the actions of the bookmaking firm Ladbrokes who have refused to pay in full Mr Phillip Tilson a punter from Mansfield over ú100,000 for a winning tricast bet which he laid with them on the outcome of the English horserace, the Derby, a bet that successfully predicted the first, second and third horses in the correct order in that race; believes the company should fully honour this customer's winnings and not persist in seeking a settlement of this bet on any negotiated lower amount.
