FUTURE OF 'TAKE THE HIGH ROAD' SERIES

That this House urges the ITV Scheduling Office to reconsider its decision to axe Take the High Road, which is one of the most popular series ever produced in Scotland and provides much needed employment for Scottish actors and actresses and excellent tourist promotion for Scotland; congratulates all presently involved in the campaign to save the programme, particularly the Daily Record; and urges all concerned at the decision to join the campaign to have this decision reversed.
