Evening Times And Scottish Water And Sewerage Services

That this House congratulates the Evening Times on its vigorous and continued campaign against the privatisation of Scottish water and sewerage services and in particular, pays warm tribute to its excellent 16-page supplement which was published without the benefit of advertising revenue; believes that the Evening Times has further enhanced its already excellent reputation as a campaigning newspaper which speaks for Scotland; and calls upon Her Majesty's Government to listen to that voice and abandon its proposals to privatise Scottish water and sewerage services.
