"up And Running"

That this House congratulates writer Phil Woods, director Max Roberts, actor/comedian Mike Elliott, composer/songwriter Alan Hull and all of the cast on the high quality of the production and performers of the hugely entertaining play, Up and Running; commends the play to the people of Durham as it continues phase one of its proposed tour and to the wider Northern Region, other mining areas, Glasgow and London during the second phase; appreciates the importance of the financial support from Durham County Council, Northern Arts and others; and considers the play to be a significant contribution to a wider public interest in live theatre.
