Pub Theatre (No.3)

That this House notes with interest the most recent pub theatre production at the White Bear pub theatre, Kennington Park Road, "Voyage in the Dark", by Jean Rhys, adapted by Joan Wiles, music by Peter Salem, director, Sarah Woodside, designer, Martin Hilderand, costumes, Eva Kotlarsky, lighting by Chris Clay and performed by the exciting theatre company, Millenium, in association with London City Theatre; compliments pub theatre in general for providing fine theatrical performances at prices the general public can afford; and calls upon Her Majesty's Government to make available adequate funding to enable young producers, directors and pub theatre companies such as Millenium to continue their most important contribution to the Arts.
