That this House calls for an early debate on Scotland in Europe; believes that it is incumbent upon the honourable Member for Banff and Buchan to clarify his party's policy given the comments of Mr Brian Nugent, Vice Convener of Shetland SNP in The Herald of 27th April that the SNP policy of Scotland in Europe is a slogan 'and that is all it has ever been, a slogan not a policy'; and invites the honourable Member to show leadership in this matter by binding together his fragmented party behind genuine policies rather than empty slogans.
