Nuclear Test Moratoria

EDM number 1867 in 1992-93, proposed by Menzies Campbell on 27/04/1993.

That this House notes the European Parliament resolution of 10th March welcoming the declaration by France, Russia and the United States of America of temporary moratoria on nuclear testing and calling on other nuclear states to join the moratoria; and urges the government, as a matter of urgency, to join in the moratoria and to adopt, with the other nuclear states, a common approach to the nuclear test issue.
