Nottingham City Council Housing Spending
EDM number 184 in 1992-93, proposed by John Heppell on 04/06/1992.
That this House calls upon the Government to allow the spending by Nottingham City Council of some of the ú49.2 million it has accrued from the sale of council houses, to purchase some of the 510 former council houses, now empty and unused, in order to rehouse the 350 families now living in temporary accommodation who are registered homeless, thus saving the poll-tax payers of Nottingham unwarranted expense.
This motion has been signed by a total of 49 MPs.
