Spinning Jenny Workshop

That this House supports the efforts which are currently being made to re-open the Spinning Jenny Clothing Workshop of Belfast, the charitable organisation which provided a unique and specialised clothing service for people with severe disabilities in Northern Ireland; sees the provision of such a service in Northern Ireland as being vital given (a) the higher than average incidence of disability in the Province and (b) the consequences of 20 years of violence on the people of Northern Ireland; and calls upon Her Majesty's Government to make whatever grants necessary to restart this excellent organisation.
