Action To End Aggression In Bosnia
EDM number 1808 in 1992-93, proposed by Calum Macdonald on 20/04/1993.
That this House views with horror the inhuman assaults upon Srebrenica and other civilian populations in Bosnia; condemns territorial aggression and the policy of ethnic cleansing whether by Serbian or Croat forces; is revolted by the evidence of mass rape used as a deliberate strategy of war; doubts that sanctions alone will succeed; calls upon the United Nations to declare an ultimatum and, should that fail, to take decisive military action to end Serbian aggression; and therefore warmly welcomes the Leader of the Labour Party's statement on the use of air power in Bosnia.
This motion has been signed by a total of 70 MPs, 4 of these signatures have been withdrawn.
