All-Wales Forum

EDM number 1733 in 1992-93, proposed by Dafydd Wigley on 31/03/1993.

That this House congratulates Montgomeryshire District Council for giving its unanimous support to the proposal to establish an All-Wales forum comprising of representatives from each local authority in Wales together with Welsh honourable Members, MEPs, and Wales' representatives on the proposed Committee of the Regions; welcomes the fact that the resolution gained the support of Labour, Liberal Democrat and Independent members of the Council; and calls on honourable Members of the Labour Party from Welsh constituencies to put aside their petty jealousies and show their support for the proposal for an All-Wales forum.
